I chose this photo because it really defines what American beauty really is. This photo can lift someones spirits and thus help them move forward in this life.

To me, the yellow doorway looks like some sort of gateway to a more beautiful place. It makes me wonder what's on the other side.

This picture looks like something that should be on a meme. The bird looks like it saw something surprising and it just doesn't know what to do about it.

The reason I chose this photo is because of how the bridge, in the foreground, made the moon a part of the foreground as well. The hills in the background seemed more distant than the moon.
